Really lovely. Very pretty. I think the FMQ is really great. Really helps make the quilt.

Thanks everyone! I often plan the FMQ at the top design stage - with this one I didn't as it was new technique for me so I'm pretty pleased that I came up with something so suitable. (Ferret helped of course - couldn't go wrong really, could I? :mrgreen: :-D )

Oh, I so agree with you. It seems with each fireworks themed quilt I make, each one is more complex then the previous one. Most have been PP, which seems to really appeal to me. I know I'd never attempt tiny triangles if they weren't PP. My latest one is a Twisted Logcabin pattern, using an equilateral triangle as the base shape. The design ends up tessellating, this being another fascinating design process.

I was cleaning off my desk and found a slip of paper with "Spectrum Triangles" written on it. A note to myself to look closer at the pictures you posted. Well, I finally got around to doing it. I really like it, by the way.
