Some of you will have read the topic created by CoventryUK telling you all about how we met up for the first time last weekend at her home in Coventry UK:

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-138095-1.htm

I was treated so warmly and had a fabulous time, on Saturday her local Guild had a huge Sale Day to raise funds for the church and this is what I bought

I also humped home 30 various quilting magazines which I couldn't resist at 10 magazines for £1!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't I do well!!!!

Thank you once again Hilary, you are a star

Yes I am sure you are right Hilary, I just wish I had thought to check that the railway station had a lift before going to the sale as the thought of humping all that weight up and down all those stairs hindered my stash building session!!!

Well there is always next time, fingers crossed

   :D

We had a fabulous time, Hilary and her DH were perfect hosts and looked after me impeccably! They opened up their home and their hearts to me! I travelled down by train on Friday, we spent most of the day getting to know each other then had a delicious home made meal, before spending the evening with some dear friends of Hilary & DH's. Spent a wonderful day at the quilting sale for four hours Saturday, then I was taken to two more quilting shops in the area. Finally, we all went to the local Pub/Restaurant for a gorgeous slap up meal!! Sunday, we had a couple of hours together before I had to catch my train back home. What a fantastic weekend we had Phew!!
