A group of girls in a virtual bee I am in made 15 of the blocks and I am making the rest. I have enough to make 36 blocks ... and just maybe I can make 42 if I piece the aqua ... scrappy happy! :-) I like aqua/tangerine. What do you think for binding?
I sew'd the first row together to see how it would work.. due to the block size being off here and there I am losing star points (but I dont mind)

Do a border in an aqua print and a tangerine binding.

I think you need the yellow/gold to frame; binding or border. BTW I love your aqua/tangerine. Can't wait to see it finished.

I love the quilt. I would use a tangerine colored binding. I love the combo.
