When I was using this book frequently someone suggested I had the spine take off and put a spiral wire back.
Thinking of doing this to more of my books. Very convenient to turn the pages or keep it open.
I went to Kinkos but other places do the same. Paid around $5 but well worth it.

I did this to some of my quilt books, too. If you store the books with the spirals up like I do, I find it helpful to write the name of the book on the page edges of the book when it was closed so I could find it when I needed that particular book.

That is one of my next books--my dream quilt to make!! I also saw the program and heard it is better to work with both the book and program. Not sure if that was an advertising ploy to spend more money. How big are the blocks?? I have 501 blocks that are 4" squares I was thinking of doing the same thing with.
