Thinking of doing this to more of my books. Very convenient to turn the pages or keep it open.
I went to Kinkos but other places do the same. Paid around $5 but well worth it.
Thanks for the idea Bebe, I have a book that needs repairing and will consider doing this.
It's easier to use this way too.

I did that with all my paper piece books so I can copy them better.

Another good idea, and even easier is to use a three ring binder. Punch holes and slide in. That's it. If you purchase the binders with the cover, just slide the book cover in and you have your fave book better than ever. I do this with teacher resources in my classroom.

When the store does this type of binding, they first cut off the spine. I ask them to return the spine to me, then I slide it down in the coil and I can see the name of the book with the cut off spine.

I've done this too. It is great for all sorts of books that need to be laid flat so you can follow directions.

What a neat idea. I have this book too. Does anyone know where in my area, ie Ontario, I can get this done?

I had this done to several of my books. Love it. Be sure to remove the pattern inserts first or they will be part of the spiral binding.
