Default Splendid Day again...
After 2nd repair for my old computer it's up and running again! And so I'm able to send pictures of 2 more blocks from my Splendid Sampler!

Both were fun to do - the Coneflower is of course appliqued by hand using Invisifil thread - so fine! And I loved the intricate piecing of the Hand in Hand one! The "arrows " are a folded shape with the edges sewn between two pieces of background. After opening the background with the arrow you must open the arrow and spread it out on the background! Very different!

*sigh* Big decision ... which block shall I choose for tomorrow?

Thinking of adding hand-sewn blanket stitch around it. Wadda-ya think?
