I think the floral border is a nice counterpoint to the angles of the center. A dark narrow inner border would make a good accent to the floral and add a distinctive touch to the quilt. Nicely done!

I had the best time with this pattern. I chose a border of a color within and a thin binding..stitch in the ditch quilting..minus the pinwheels. Left them alone. Nice job!

I love your top. I was so impressed on the close up how beautifully it is matched.

I am not wild about the print since there are no large prints anywhere in the quilt top but then I am not seeing it in person. It really doesn't matter what I think, it matters what you think. If you are questioning it, you must not be happy with it. Audition a stripe just for fun or make the large print into a smaller border and audition that. Have fun, play

I think the flower fabric would be wonderful as you have a lot of solid type fabrics in the body of your quilt. I love that patttern you have made and the colors.

Thank you for all of your suggestions and compliments. I'm still undecided about the borders, so I'll probably make a trip to the quilt shop today to see if anything there strikes me. I'm sure I'll come out with fabric, whether it will be for this quilt is something else altogether.
