This is the top that kept growing and now I'm trying to figure out borders. The top at present is 70"w X 90"L. I want to add borders to finish it off, but uncertain exactly what I want to do to transition from the Split Rail to Outer border frame. Any ideas are welcome!

WOW, that's almost a "warm wishes" pattern, I wouls use any of the fabrics that don't fall on the outside already first, then maybe 1 or 2 more.

I like it

How big are your rails and the squares ? Can you tell I want to try it  LOL

As for the border, I would use a color that is not already in the quilt to finish it off .

It's beautiful!!!
Maybe one of the lighter blues that doesn't touch the edge as a narrow border with maybe the focus fabric or something that coordinates with it for a wider outer border.

Love the quilt, just add binding and forget about borders.
