I posted this once before when I finished piecing it. But now all the quilting and binding is done, so I thought I'd show it off now that it's finished. It's from last spring's Fabshophop. I sent it out to my laq to be quilted. She used variegated thread. It's a little darker than I would have liked, but I still like the butterflies in the design. All in all, I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Such a gorgeous quilt! And the blocks are magnificent!

That's the difference between the "quilter" and "LAQ"..two different arts/artists competing for attention. The LAQ wanted her quilting to show so she used a darker thread (than you would have used) and did her quilting all over your beautiful blocks (which you may not have done). That's one good reason to quilt it yourself.

I love your quilt. It sure is springy looking. Very refreshing.

Are you caught up on your Checkered Board BOM? I am three months behind. Several other things got in the way. Can't wait to get to them.
