A Spring Runner... despite the snow!
#1
Here's a runner that I decided to do despite the fact that the snow is still covering everything here... anyone else tired of winter yet? I hear it is a North America complaint this year, not just here in Northeastern Canada.
I'll finish the binding tonight while I keep hubby company in front of the TV! LOL. I love the way the pinwheels seem to be curving and waving in the wind!
I can't offer the pattern to anyone, cuz I saw the runner on the net and drafted out the pattern on graph paper. But for anyone who is so inclined, the entire runner is done in 2 1/2 squares with 1 1/2 squares sewn to the corners to make the pinwheels.

I love this!!! I understand about the pattern issue, but I am having a 'senior' moment, and can't seem to understand how its constructed. Would you kindly do some close up pictures so I can see how you have put the pieces together!! Thanks alot for sharing, its great, love the colours too!!! :D :D

It is called Pinwheel Puzzle. The pattern is available from www.quiltbus.com
And here are two close ups of the pinwheels so you can see how I added a
1 1/2" square to the 2 1/2" to make little corners.
