Here are pics of the stack n whack quilted for a customer. I am too embarrassed to tell you all the comedy of errors in the end with this quilt.

Beautiful quilt. I love the stack and whack technique for the dramatic outcome. I've used it for Dresden Plates.

I can see some of the quilting in the close up photo. You did a really nice job. Did you have trouble with the center of each block wanting to shift around or buckle up? That's been a problem for me before with s&w and stars. I start quilting in the center of each and work out. Is there a better way?

Nice job. Your customer will appreciate it. I enjoy the stack and whack quilts and the one block wonder quilts but have never made one. On my list though.

Wow! I love stack n whack quilts. It is so amazing to me the different looks that come out of one fabric. You did a great job. Love the colors.
