My hubby made me a stand for my thread. It is short so, he is going to make me a taller one tomorrow. Isn't it cute!

EXCELLENT IDEA!!! I just told DH that he HAS to make me one. I'm gonna have him add a L shaped piece to the botton for spools of thread that don't feed well from the top (like the spool on your sewing machine, I don't remember the terms for winding the spools). But why do you need it to be taller? It looks like it would work perfectly. am I missing something?

Well, according to pictures on JoAnn's the stand looked at least six inches taller than the machine. I just assumed that is the way it should be.

I have a "tall" one and a "short" one, and they both work great.
