Default Star of Hope

This quilt was inspired by 3 fat quarters sent to me by my quilting buddy and Pen-pal, SouthPstitches. I had mentioned 'maybe making something scrappy in blue and peach'. Since I have been going through some personal challenges but I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I became very interested in a block known as Star of Hope. They are the stars with the dark centers and two color points. Then I surrounded them with a block that is known by either Castles in Spain or Magic Cross. Used up some stash and some scraps!

I think I might just add one more border, but need to figure it out still.
The size is 44" square, so it's still somewhat small.

The first picture shows the FQ's that I started with.

It looks wonderful. What a very great setting. Of course we tend to look at quilts as a whole, but even with that being normal, your points are just sharp and wonderful and just popped out to me

Beautiful, I would add bigger borders to make it as big as you want. If you want it longer make the last border wider at top and bottom. Three borders would be enough. Just what I would do.

Jennie,
That is so beautiful, I love it.
I still use the quilt you gave me, and it is still the only one I own.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful art work.
GOD bless
Penny
