Default A Star Quilt

My oldest daughter lives in South Dakota and one day she calls me and asked me what I charged for quilting and I said why and she said I want you to quilt a quilt for me and I told her I wouldn't charge her (I know she is on a limited budget but I wouldn't charge her regardless) any way she tried quilting this quilt herself and ended up ripping it out. so I just did a some continuous curves and stippling in her quilt. She also brought me three others that I need to piece the backs for her and on one put borders on as she never had the money for borders so I bought them for her. The other three are beautiful quilts hope to get to them soon for her. thanks for looking

Your DD's quilt is lovely. And so is your quilting. Wish my DD had some interest in quilting but she won't even sew on a button. Great job to both of you.

You did a beautiful job, as did she. We moms usually do jump in to help our kids. None of mine quilt either. That's disappointing.

Beautiful work by both of you! Neither my daughter nor my daughter-in-law quilt but I'm teaching all their kids to sew and quilt. I'm thinking that when the daughter and daughter-in-law are empty nesters they will probably pick up the hobby. They are both very creative people, just too busy right now!
