Default The start of a new summer quilt

My DD wanted a new quilt for summer, something light and bright. She picked out this jelly roll, and I made up an easy pattern using the main bedroom color (purple). While it is very bright (the camera doesn't give a true brightness to the colors) I think it has turned out very summery and pretty. This is only the first two rows of blocks, 4 more to add on. Just had to get it up and pictured!

Very pretty! I love all the nice bright colors. That would look good in my granddaughter's room.

Love the purples in the quilt, it is my favorite color. I think it turned out great, keep up the good work, great job. I hope your daughter loves it.
