The start of my first Toumbling Blocks quilt. I had a lot of trouble connecting the rows. I could not get the points to stay sharp or line up with the seams. Sooooo I aplicaed the rows together. Easyer and fast. I figuared if I have to hand sew everything why not do the rows this way.

My kind of thinking! I see so many patterns with these tiny squares forming what looks like a solid piece and wonder why they can't be appliqued. Maybe I'll try that now!

Looks beautiful! For some reason I have a hard time envisioning how this pattern would go together. I look at it and see 3D and just can't make it flat in my brain! LOL My husband loves this pattern...I'd love to make it for him some day, but I don't know if I'll ever be able to make my brain cooperate! LOL
