Default Starting a new quilt in my $45.00 sewing area

I found the stool at a garage sale for $5.00, the treadle base and a beat up top for $20.00 and believe it or not a Featherweight for $20.00 at an estate sale. I have a good size sewing room in the basement but it's been a little to cold down there this winter. I was looking at this weird little space in my family room and decided to see it I could set something up there. I have had the stool, the base and the machine for a while. It looks like they belong there. I'm working on a Scrappy Mountain Majesties quilt and staying warm. I cut pieces downstairs a little at a time. Just proves you can have a sewing area with very little money and space.

I think that stool might be a piano stool, meant to adjust up and down for various size players. It looks like one we used to have and might be quite valuable. It's hard to tell from the picture for sure. If you want to PM me more pictures, I might be able to help id it better.

Lovely alcove. I'd turn the back of the treadle to face the side of the fireplace if there were room, simply because I don't like my back to the room. And are you free to go saleing with my next weekend??
