No I haven't heard about spoon quilting but found a video. Very interesting! I don't know if I could get use to that or not because I can't even get use to a thimble. All of the quilting on this quilt will be done by hand. It was pieced by machine.

Your quilting is so lovely!

But I have never understood why one would go to the effort to handquilt yet hide their stitches "in the ditch". If I'm doing that work, I want everyone to be able to see it! I'd be putting my stitches down the middle of the rectangles or at least 1/4 inch away from the seams.
