I am over in the Sisters area with five of my friends and I thought you would enjoy seeing our mess. First I will show the beautiful view from the house where we are staying. It is gorgeous here.

None of us signed up for any classes this year, but decided to hold classes for ourselves here at the house. On Monday, one of the gals taught us how to do cathedral windows and we each made a potholder of our block. Yesterday, one of the gals taught us how to make the Bow Tucks purse. I had never really had any interest in making that purse, but did because Sonia wanted to teach a class, but I love my purse I made. I forgot to bring my camera and the other gals are all still in bed so I'll have to wait a bit to borrow a camera to show pictures of our projects we've done. Today we are making a tote out of charm packs. In amongst all this learning, we are each working on our own projects (I pieced my tablerunner for the fall tablerunner swap and am now working on my QFK quilt). And, of course, once in awhile we have to eat something - luckily I did my cooking stint the first day we were here and don't have to do it again so can just enjoy everyone else's cooking.

Will keep you posted about interesting things going on.

I ive here in Oregon, and Sisters is so phenominal during their show! I love it there, and though the town is so tiny you will miss it, during the show week, it often takes hours it seems to drive thru main street, lol.. actually did take forever one trip , lol. So fun for you gals!
