    How cute!

I've got a bunch of little bits from the table runners I've been making. I've been wondering what I could do. Much cuter than the square mug rugs I've done in the past.

Thanks..if I had lined it and left the top open I could have added teabags...hmmmm maybe next ones I will do that....
I was wondering about that, too. Maybe even use an open stocking for a spoon holder.

Duh! I went "fabric" shopping at Goodwill. I bought a few pieces of regular fabric, plus a 5 skirts that had fabric I liked. One is just plain ole red and white strip.

Oh, and one bed skirt that was beige and olive green printed check. Yield, about 10 yards of 12" wide fabric that has no sunfading.

At any rate-------------I'm thinking my bits and pieces could be held together with my red adn white stipe----------that had no particular use until just now.

Cute mug rugs on the way!

Suefish Thank you for sharing your patterns. I have just started paper piecing and I find them very easy to do. I love the stocking. What a great idea!

I don't have a real pattern actually but I did share the piece I used for paper piecing the stocking and you just cut that out on the outside line and cut a backing the same size and sew 1/4" around leaving the top open and turn it and close the top up...does that help?
