Talking Storm at Sea with & without points

Hi everyone. I have been off the board for awhile. I really missed you guys.
and all the wonderful quilts.

These are 2 wall hangings. Storm at Sea. then I wanted to see
what it would look like with the points in the border. I don't think
it shows the wave of the pattern as well. But I was playing.
thx for looking.

I tend to see the large diamond they form more than the wave in #2, but both are beautiful. Love your colors too!!

These are beautiful. I, too, like it without the border points. The points really make the stars stand out. Thank you for showing the difference. It has been on my bucket list since the first time I saw it. I think it should be the next one I make. What size did you make yours? How difficult was it? I am a self-taught quilter of beginning skill. Did you use a special pattern, or the one on Quilter's Cache? Any special tips?

Both are beautiful. First shows motion, second doesn't. I like both of them. Wonderful work on both.
