I just finished this top yesterday. I thought it turned out really cool. It was really easy.

I thought I would add another border but was not sure what color to add. Any suggestions?

I have mainly tied my bigger quilts but I thought that I would try and quilt this one. If I were to do a type of free motion quilting - would I work on one block at a time or what???

Thanks Teri

That sashing really makes your colours pop, beautiful job. If you have an idea of who is getting it you could choose a fabric that would go with their decor. Some kind of larger flower with that same green and red tones that are already in the quilt?

Very striking! Love the black sashing!

I'd probably go with a red border, but I am not sure it needs one! I haven't done free motion qulting, so no advice here!

I love the black sashing with white seeming to frame on point inside. I don't think I'd add another border. In fact, I'd probably bind it in black. I don't have any advice to offer on the quilting. All I've ever done is really stitch in the ditch or tie myself.

Luckyscraper, this is beautiful! That black sashing just sets off the bright strings perfectly!!! :D :D
I opened the bitmap pic & saved it as a jpeg, so here's her quilt:
