My sister also gave me a lot of left over stips she had cut. She had them rolled up on empty toilet paper rolls. I found 3 long pieces of fleece in one of the bags so puts the rolls onto it, tied the ends and hung up on a nail, when I want a strip I can unpin and cut what I want from it.

I just heard on the radio yesterday that one of the major paper companies (can't remember which) is test-marketing toilet paper made without the roll inside. Apparently they have developed technology that enables them to roll the paper without gluing to a tube. Their spin is that it will save the consumer so much toilet paper (translates to that one last sheet that is glued to the roll). Don't they know that people like us USE those empty rolls?
