    Appalacian Trail Drunkards Path Quilt

This is a pattern from Quilt maker from way back. It is a combination of machine applique' and machine pieced drunkard's path units. I used the 31/2" templates from Elisa Wilson. The fabrics are mostly 1980's, so soft floral.
It's the quilt I am most fond of and plan to make again one day. It took 2 or 3 months to complete, but I did it in my spare time when I was still working 18 hours a week.

Scraplady, that is one amazing piece of work and I admire your design capabilities and your stamina as I know it must have taken every ounce of energy you had to complete this piece.

This is SUCH A FUN post!! People have been asked to show their work and we are getting to see quilts we might never have seen. Even though you might be proud of your work, it's kind of a gamble to put it out there. I think we should have a "request to show" every quarter. I know we all have something beautiful in our UFO's or on our walls or in our closets. Thank you all for posting such lovely quilts!

I'm enjoying this thread! Wish my computer would load the pictures faster! My quilts are just functional and funky... no "stunning"s yet...

    My Scrappy Pineapple Blossom

As I don't have many quilts under my belt, I'm very happy how this controlled scrappy Pineapple Blossom from Quiltville came out for me.

    Quilt for my son

I made this one for my son. He chose the pattern and the colors.... made me dizzy but turned out well.
