Default Summer Bright

This 50 x 60 quilt began life as test blocks. DD changed the size of the Snowball block and Puss in the Corner blocks so needed test it before beginning another T-Shirt quilt. The focus fabric (remnants of a sheet) and the yellow were Goodwill purchases, the orange was from stash and the backing is a Walmart sheet. After completing two test blocks I decided to use up all of the focus fabric and make more quilt blocks. Don't look too closely at the quilting as it is the first quilt I have quilted on my HQ Sweet 16. I pieced the quilt top on my Singer Featherweight. Thank goodness there are not any Quilt Police around here, they would go crazy with this one.

I really had fun making and quilting this quilt. I sure helps brighten up our very gloomy, gloomy summer here in Western Washington.

It looks like you had fun and that's what quilting is supposed to be about. Great bright, fun quilt!

I love your colors! What? Gloomy in Western Washington? You need to come for a visit in Eastern Washington...

Thanks Charisma. Quite a learning curve for me. But don't worry, the really special quilts will be coming to you for your magical quilting. Still have two to send you. LOL
