    Default Summer Squares

Just finished this lap quilt for my sister. Went together very quickly using "Lilac Hill" (Brannock & Patek for MODA) jelly roll and charm squares. Pattern is free off internet from Moda Bakeshop at http://www.modabakeshop.com/2011/06/...res-quilt.html. The large flower applique really adds a nice touch to it. I did follow the trapunto instructions for the large flower and leaves but was not able to get the tension and stuff right to do the final monofilament stitching around each petal. Turned out fine without doing that.

I agree, yours is much prettier than the one on the Moda site. Good work.

Lovely femine quilt and the applique adds so much to it!
