I love reproduction fabrics and had accumulated quite a few. The Shoo Fly pattern seemed fitting for my collection. This is the outcome. A straight border seemed rather boring so I decided it should be scalloped. That also seemed rather plain so I added yoyo's. Much better. Embarassed to say I didn't make a dent in my 1930's stash. Oh the life of a quilter.....

very nice! I hadn't seen baby shoo-flies before. And I always like colorful blocks set with white.

I'm always amazed how such a simple block can make such a stunning quilt. It's beautiful! You'll just have to make a few more to use up some of your stash!
