Sunbonnet Sue is not one of my favorite patterns but I sure would enjoy having this one. It must surly be a labor of love.

Love this - beautiful colours. Where did the patterns for the machine embroidery come from? Congrats on a wonderful quilt.

It is made out of insulations board from the hardware store. This foamed stuff needed for isolating your roof against cold. They come in different highs and you just have to add up till it covers the sewing arm of your machine. There is a special glue that comes with it and you can easely cut the gab for your sewing machine arm out with a knife.
    Hope this helps
