Well I am semihappy with the result :oops: . Looks a bit overload to me and the fabric of the binding was not shrinking as the rest of the fabric. The quilt was wet taking the pics, it is laying flat on the floor now.
As it will be a christmas present to DD I might redo the binding somewhen......
The sunbonnets are machine embroidery designs, the long lines I made with the walking foot and the FMQ went quilt well with my "quilttable" - got that idea somewhere here.

WOW, I have never seen such a beautiful Sunbonnet Sue quilt in my entire life. It is spectacular! I love the color combination and your quilting is excellent. Very well done. :thumbup:

Did you get the Sunbonnet designs at emblibrary.com? I really really like them and would love to make them, but honestly I think your color choices for the whole thing are what I love the most.

What an adorable quilt! I love the idea for your "quilt table" I may have to borrow that idea! Do you find your quilts move well on it?

I added a selfadhesive plasticfoil (spelling????) on top and it slid very well
