Default Sunbonnet Sue - Baby size - from a kit

I've been posting a lot about kits lately. Here's one of the good ones. I have no idea what site I found it on - if you know, please share. I want to say Connecting Threads since I get quite a few when they put them on sale, but ... don't know.

There was a problem - no fabric was included for Sue's arm, but I had a piece in my stash that worked just fine. It is raw-edge machine appliqued. I used a varigated thread in pastels for that.

I don't have backing for it yet so it will be on hold for a while. It will have a scalloped border which I've never done. When it's totally finished I'll share how that turned out.

I thought this would go to a new mom, but I think it must go to a new grandmom instead. Not to be age-ist, but sure want it appreciated!

so pretty! I do agree with some grandmother would get more use of it! I look forward to seeing it with the scallop edging.

Sew cute! I love the 1930 reproduction prints with the old fashioned SunBonnet Sue blocks. I especially love that fabric with the teeny, tiny Sunbonnet Sues in it.

I really like that. I don't think I've seen a Sunbonnet Sue pattern like that before. I like it.
