This is a quilt I'm making for my granddaughter. She will be 2 in July, but this is for her big girl bed once she is ready. All the girls (30) have 10 pieces each and I am hand-stitching them down with blanket stitch. I machine stitched-in-the-ditch around the squares and sashing. This is the 2nd full size quilt I've made. The first one was made 20 years ago. Now I see so many patterns I want to make. I have rediscovered this hobby and love it!

Traditional blocks are wonderful but you are adding the extra touch of hand-stitching. An heirloom to treasure.Love, the variety of colors in the same families. I hope your granddaughter loves this quilt, I know I do.
