This is a sunflower, but the colors are also great for fall. My cousin and I picked out the fabrics earlier this summer at the quilt shop in Havana, Illinois. She had never been to a quilt shop before (she doesn't sew). She didn't realize it, but we were picking the fabrics out so I could make this for her. I hope that means she will like it! I will give it to her when I see her next weekend.

I read "snowflake" instead of sunflower....don't ask me how I can do that. Anyway, imagine my surprise when the picture opened. I have a feeling your cousin will feel sorta like that but even more so! You may even have enlightened her enough to want to quilt. Have a great time together.
