Default Super busy - two days of mini quilts - picture heavy

My quilt guild is doing a display in a library display window. We're setting it up this morning. We are a small modern guild and very few members donated anything so I was trying to beef up the window...

I started my Monday off with binding a small qr code quilt that I made and another member quilted for me. Of course that's one that I didn't take a picture of. It's a qr code. It leads to our guild's website..

We originally considered doing Alzheimer Art Quilt Iniative quilts as our display - so I found some orphan blocks - and some blocks from a block exchange we did awhile ago. I quilted and bound them... but tehn I was looking at everything and decided that they just weren't modern. I have 16 blocks and 9 of them were ones I whipped up, most of which to learn to use my new binding attachment...
The only one I pieced is the kaleidoscope blocks - that was left over from a quilt I have in progress but I didn't want to use that block...

I then bound my Biohazard mini quilt... and still was not making friends with the binder attachment. I could bind but couldn't really *get* how to join my ends still :'(

So then I looked around to find anything else that I might be able to finish off quickly that was a bit more modern and remembered my Night Owl blocks I made a long time ago and kept forgetting to finish it.. I didn't really like the pink one but decided that I guess there needed to be a mommy owl so I went with it...

Then I still had time yesterday (I made the Alzheimer ones the day before) and decided to work on my Dr Who mini quilt.... I posted this in another thread here since I'm totally loving it The purple dalek is not crooked in real life. I caught a funky angle.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw these house blocks that were made by members of my guild - yeah! Something that I can whip up (I had to make the two center trees to make the house in the middle block bigger) but it's something others pieced so more people will be shown in the display window even if they didn't send anything over... And I finally *got it* and was able to join my ends nicely! Woot!Woot! Only quilts/mini quilts and I figured it out!!

So I still have a little time left yesterday before dinner... and I wanted to do something that showed "use of negative space" so I whipped up this one... sadly I don't think you'll be able to see the stitching on it.. and of course the colors in the picture itself are really off. The fabric is actually white :'( All of the colors are way off in these pictures but I'm too worn out to take any more lol.

So that was my Monday and Tuesday I feel like I got a ton done... got to do some fancy quilting instead of just stitching in the ditch.

What fun you've had. In your negative space mini I "see" a lighted window in a blue door.
