Here are the details for inquiring minds :-). Sailboat quilt pattern is for class participants only :-( Can't share :-(. However, I can say that I used and embroidery pattern from Embroidery Library for $1.00.
I used white muslin and cotton prints. The batting was a brand from JoAnn's (Hi Loft Silky Soft...something like that). I used So Fine thread on the top and Bottom Line in the bobbin, both from Superior Threads. Then I went to town, drawing, sketching, looking any place I could find for ideas then used a water erasable Marvy Fabric Markers. Some of the designs are traced and some are freehand. This was a great learning experience for. Thank you for your wonderful comments and interest in my learning experiences and accomplishments.

A couple more pics to follow.

Jackie, that really turned out great! I love it...no surprize there!! I was really intrigued that you said you used a High loft type of batting. I thought that when you did a lot of stippling, etc., they (who ever they are) recommended that you use a regular 100% cotton batting. Something about it laying flatter. It appears that your quilt "poofs" up...it looks great from here...just think that is interesting.

Is that a new kind of marker? Better than the regular old purple/blue thing??

Looks like you had a ball in this class, you came out of it with a beautiful quilt...now what's next??

That turned out so pretty! I love the dolphin you snuck in there too. I wish I could quilt like you do! I love looking at your quilts.
