I have been doing the sewing for some of my family and friends this last week and I just finished up the little purse a couple hours ago. I hope you enjoy seeing them. The green ones are corderoy with purple leather accents and handles.

This is the little one. It has a body made from a heavy tapistry fabric with navy blue leather details and straps, and indigo blue denium strap tabs and snap closure tab. (A vogue pattern) I added the zipper to the back because I love to put my keys in a back pocket. Even though this isn't mine, I like to add features I like if they aren't included.
For my buddy who always wears blue jeans....

Thanks so much girls! The p.j.'s top has dancing ice cream coneson it. I got it at hancock's last week. I just couldn't resist it. The lite aqua check was the only fabric I liked with it in the whole store. It is a mcCall's pattern.
The green purses are a simplicty pattern and it has white fleece padding and sew in stiff interfacing. They have matching cording along the edges to protect them from wear. I will go up and get the number later to post for you, Hunnib, if you are interested. They still sell it.

Thanks so much!
I would like to have a pair like this too, teri. LOL!
Thanks little hud, mountain moma, diana, hunib, and sharon b.! I am not a fast sewer, but I really try to get it as perfect as I can.
I was really happy with my bernina. It sewed though all those layers and fabrics like it was butter. How nice that was.
