I can't call it a quilt because I didn't complete the sandwich.

Here is the story. My brother-in-law asked for a t-shirt quilt made with his automotive themed t-shirts. Only one problem - he would not limit himself. No way would he consider using less than ALL his saved t-shirts. To top it off many of the t-shirts had been well worn and the smallest design ended up as an eighteen inch block. Others were smaller.

Since the top turned out to be so big I simply put the squares together and sewed on a backing fabric.

Not my best work (even for my new status) but he is extremely happy. He intends to hang it in his 'man cave'!

What a wonderful memory quilt. I love how you put all the different size images together with the flame fabric. Great job!

Your car themed T-shirt quilt is great! I made a similar one for my husband. He had so many shirts that I backed the quilt with t-shirts too. It is one heavy quilt! You did a wonderful job with yours. I love the use of the flame fabric to tie it all together.

This is the back of my hubby's t-shirt quilt

Here is the front of the T-shirt quilt, the light blue sashings are from his workshirts, I even included pockets!

I like yours too...for my B-I-L white would not work, he lacks a significant other to do the cleaning!
