Default T Shirt quilt made by Sandy

Sandy brought this "musical" T Shirt quilt over for me to quilt. We chose the "musical" pantograph pattern "Study in C" by Lorien Quilting. Used Hobbs Poly batting and a green/yellow variegated thread on the front of the quilt with a light lime green thread in the bobbin. Sandy has made several T-Shirt quilts - all of them perfectly pieced and stabilized.

I have 50 t-shirts set aside for each of my two kids for a for 2 t-shirt quilts. I was struggling with the background fabric/sashing as the t-shirt colors vary from white to black and everything in between. I love how you framed each t-shirt and then put a "busier" fabric in the sashing. I am going to do something very similar now that I have seen how beautifully yours turned out. I will bookmark this and it will serve as my inspiration. I am so glad you posted pictures!!
