My husband volunteered me to make this quilt for women that lost her son. I did not know them and I was very apprehensive because I was given no input or direction. The quilt was very difficult because the fusible interfacing that I used keep coming apart from the shirts. I have used this brand before and had no problems in the past but I think it could have been due to longtime use of fabric softener on the garments. The whole time I was making this I was so worried. Well they got it yesterday and they were so happy and they loved it so much. I’m very happy that I made the quilt it feels good to make a difference to someone suffering such grief.

It's a wonderful t shirt quilt, your layout is so well balanced and pleasing to the eye, as well as the colors you chose for the sashing and border. My respect to you for persevering with a challenging project, I've never made a t shirt quilt, but I've worked with knits for clothing projects and I know they can be difficult.
