These are preview pictures of a future collection called "An Appointed Time" by Janet Wecker Frisch for Quilting Treasures.

It's definitely different, that's for sure... but I'm not sure what you could do with it.

Any of the ones with clock faces make me think of retirement parties. The alarm clock, by itself, reminds me of how hard it is to get one of my kids out of bed in the morning.

Surely all you creative quilters can come up with some ideas...?

Here are some coordinates. The words (from Ecclesiastes) also comes in white lettering on black. The gears are also in gray or beige.

What do you think?

I can think of a few: appliques, borders, especially on whimsical quilts...hickory dickory dock?
yes, it would be great for birthday giftings and to commemorate anniversaries etc.

I love the coordinates best. I really like fabric with writing on it..and those are really nice phrases that can apply to so much!! The red is pretty too!

As I was scrolling down the pics, I was thinking "I probably wouldn't use that." Then I saw the fabric with the words on it, and suddenly I became very interested in all the fabrics.

I would make a bag to take papers/lunch back and forth to work in. A work day has meetings, lunch, a start time and an end time, so these fabrics would be perfect for that.

Cute collection I also like the word fabric the best. That would be a great boarder on lots of quilts.
