    Hi Quilters,

I hope everyone had a beautiful day. I am so thankful to have had today off as a vacation day from work. It was wonderful.

DH and I spent the day making Mother's day gifts and we are finally finished--yeah, I know I should have started earlier. He did the embroidery and I whipped the checkbook covers together with my trusty Betsy Boop. These are for neighbors and friends. Sorry the photos are not so great. I had to use my camera phone and I barely know what I'm doing.

Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there. I hope you have a terrific weekend with family and friends.

And thank you all for sharing your work. I just love looking at the pictures. I've learned so much in the short time I have been on this board.

My fav...now that I look at the close up I see something in the batik so I need to keep this one for me.

Hmmm...I suspect you "saw" your name on the batik? Beautiful gifts.

What a productive day the two of you have had ... and to think your DH left his strings behind? :) And that you had time to be on your computer so much too!!! :)

Lovely covers ... and some very lucky people to be on your gift list for Mother's Day! :)

Thanks for sharing these pics ... and your many other great projects of both yours and your DH!

OH, I think I live just down the road from you, just past the corner and a few hundred miles on the right!!! Your projects are beautiful...and must be wonderful to have a hubby to stitch for you...even if it is machine embroidery!
But it is only me...I'm only one, but I AM one, I have two hands, but am so right handed that my left hand feels left out. Guess that is why I feel as though I can only get half as much accomplished these days!!!!!
