It has been a long road, but I have my 7 rows sewn. Now to get those rows sewed and the top will be done.

Considering I only purchased the fabric on Sept. 4th, I think I did pretty well. I barely sewed on it at all in October because of my vacation and being sick for 2 weeks.

Questions

#1: Should I press the seams in the row open or directional. Each block has 4 rows of seams in it. (They were pressed directionally that made it easier to sew the block in a row. )

#2: When I start to quilt it, should I do all the SITD quilting before doing the center mofits or... do the mofits as I work in that area? (Machine quilting this baby right here... I may regret the size of this thing but I'm determined to do it ... One way or another!)

Thanks in advance for your comments. I can always rely on this board for the best advice.

That is coming along really really nicely - I like it a lot. You have great taste in fabric colors :)

Actually, the red is not the center. It's where all 4 corners come together. From the helpful hints I got here before, I'm planning on quilting this section with a double heart in white.
