Default Table Toppers

I'm taking a class on applique projects. We do one a month and this was this month's project. I like applique but I'm not fond of the process so I'm hoping the class will help me feel more comfortable with it. I can do the applique on my embroidery machine but I did it the "hard" way by piecing and satin stitching them myself on this project. They are nice and Eastery.

Beautiful! Love the bright colours. It must have taken you ages, doing them by hand! End result is worth it though. Thank you for sharing.

Oh so perfect for Spring. Both your hand work and color choices are great. Have you ever tried doing the buttonhole stitch around your appliques. It goes faster and does not use as much thread as satin st. Just another applique option.
