Default Tee Shirt Quilt for Robotics Team

Our local robotics team celebrated their tenth year in 2018! Both my girls were on the team when they were in high school and my husband is still a mentor. The quilt was comprised of different materials. The front or back of the shirts were the main tee shirts. I used the smaller logos from the arm of the shirt or polo front for the cornerstones in the quilt. The dedication and the games/competitions we played were printed on my home printer onto cloth. The numbers were pieced using a free pattern from Moda. I was super happy to find a grungy grey/black with gears on it for the sashing.

I took the first two pictures here and then my husband sent the next two pictures as my quilt was hung. It was a lot of fun trying some new things in this quilt.

It turned out wonderfully. Congratulations on trying new things. I'm sure it will be appreciated by everyone connected to the robotics team.

It's awesome. And, looks like it has a place of honor.

Very nice work. I haven't been enthused about trying to make a t-shirt quilt. They intimidate me.
