I finally got this baby quilt done for my friends new granddaughter. The top is flannels and the back is a cotton so it won't be as warm or heavy. It is a large quilt about 60" x 60" so she can enjoy it fo a very long time. The pattern is called Tradewinds. I added the lace trim with little hearts embroidered on it.

I LOVE THE COLORS U HAVE. I THINK I HAVE THIS PATTERN. WAS IT IN QUICK QUILTS, OR ONE OF THOSE EASY QUILTS, ETC. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE U TO MAKE IT? I HAVE TO MAKE ONE FOR A BABY GIRL TO COME AND JUST LOVE THE PATTERN.

That is just adorable. Love that you made it big enough to be loved a very long time.

Thank you for the kind comments. Sorry, the pattern is called Turnstile not Tradewinds. It is done with a large triangle and half-square triangles. Really easy pattern that looks more complicated than it was.

Also, it is my friends granddaughter. I am working on the great grandkids now. I love to make baby quilts and am glad I had the chance to make this one for a very special person.
