This is one of my favorite quilts. I used my Civil War stash but chose only pinks, purples, and blues for the flowers. Then I added various browns for the friendship stars. I think it would turn out pretty in brights as well.

I love quilts like this, where you see one thing, look away and see something else when you look again. First I see flowers, and then stars depending on how my eyes are focusing. So nice!
