I really hate saying this, but I must be the only one that sees no elephants, cats, dogs or any other animal. Morphing amoeba, maybe.

I'm with you. I don't see animals either. It's a cool abstract quilt though.

Art is like that I think. It's like looking at clouds. One person sees one thing, another - something else. I love it and agree if you want her to see elephants, then add an eye. However, I think it would be more fun for her to ask her friends what they see. You did a fabulous job regardless.

I can see elephants after you mentioned them, couldn't tell exactly what the shapes were until then. I can't see dogs or cats though. I think your sis will love this.

Sorry, but I see dogs. Maybe because I'm a dog/cat person. I didn't see the cat though. You're a good sister to have made a quilt for your sister. She's lucky.


I looked at it again, and I finally saw the elephant!!

I'm with your husband, I see a cat....actually immediately thought about the "chessie cat" from the C&O Railroad. What about adding an eye to the elephant to lead the observer to see the elephant first? Regardless the quilt looks great.
