This quilt is one that my grandma hand pieced and I machine quilted for her. Its the first of 5 I have to get done for her. She's in a nursing home now and doesn't remember half the time who I am...I Love her so.

I made the next one for my husband last year in honor of his having played football for Texas in '76 as a free safety. He LOVES it AND Texas..and thinks this needle & thread thing I got going on is pretty darn cool!

Where did you get that pattern of The Texas stars/flags? What is the pattern called and who makes it? My son was born in Texas and I would love to make him that pattern.

So sweet of you to do them for your dear Grandmother. They will be a treasure.
The Texas quilt is gorgeous.

I don't get to keep any of her quilts for myself. She wanted to do one for each of her kids. As I get them done I will pass them along.
