This is my new tote bag, a "by Annie" pattern. I played with pebble stitching the Texture Magic to the green bottom fabric. It was great FMQ practice too! I'll post another bag I'm working on soon-different stipple pattern, totally different look with the Texture Magic. I LOVE this stuff!

How cool is this texture? I used a layer of batting between the texture magic and the fabric

Pretty bag. I have not heard of the 'texturing' material. Id be interested in learning more about it though.

Thanks for sharing your bag with us.

Gorgeous colors. Have you ever washed material treated with TM? I really want to try it after seeing it advertised on AAAquiltingsupplies.com. Guess I'll have to google it to see a demo. Thanks for sharing; your tote bag is beautiful.

Texture Magic is sold by Superior Threads, you can look it up online. It's a polyester "liner" that shrinks 20% or so when you steam it. You stitch it to a piece of fabric and it crinkles up the fabric it's stitched to when you pass a steam iron over it. There are a lot of tutorials online for the product. I've played with it quite a bit-very fun. It's interesting with velvet and I think my favorite is to stitching it in straight lines between polka dots! I'll see if I can find pics in the morning!

Great job on the bag and with the texture magic. Love making things with the TM.
