This is just a little something I made up to say thank you to a friend who did something really nice for me last year just as I was starting through Chemotherapy. Without her, I might never have had the courage to make six quilts last year. The wings of this goose are quilted too, though not much.

Yes, is there a pattern? I already have a Victorian lady on top of my vacuum, now I want a duck, since my maiden name was Byrd. In fact any kind of bird would do. Could make a whole flock of them for family.

Thank you! I've been making them for years. It is an old pattern from the Putnam Pattern Company called Agnes & Amanda broom covers. If you want their address, just PM me. The pattern makes a mouse or a goose, but I've adapted the mouse pattern to make a rather cute bunny with long ears too. It works up fairly fast & you can dress it up with the granny glasses, etc., from doll companies or whatever. I can give you more on that also if you like. A pattern is merely a suggestion. Creativity does the rest. :-)
