Oops, duh, it's copyrighted material so I can't go around posting it. That page is not (yet?) on their website so I can't post a link. The magazine should be out in stores in the next week so be sure to turn to page 49!

Again, thanks for all of the support.

Julie

Haha, it had until the magazine came yesterday!

I have to tell you, that was some stressful time competing in that contest, but I learned soooo much. Can't wait to see what my 2nd year of quilting brings.

I'm designing a quilt for another contest sponsored by the National Quilt Museum. Anyone else working on that one?

Am I reading this wrong? Have you only been quilting for one year? I have admired your work since I joined this board last year and I am so impressed. Congratulations on winning, looking forward to seeing the article.

Yeah, I entered my very first quilt in the qualifying round. After that I learned VERY fast! I bought EQ and learned it at the same time. I never would have gone that far without all of the encouragement and inspiration I received from my quilting friends.

I had no idea this contest was even going on. I was at Borders checking out the new magazines, and there you were. "I KNOW HER!" I shouted loudly before I was quietly escorted out of the bookstore.....

Good for you!
